We also limit paper waste by using reusable tools (i.e. microfiber cloths) when possible. How do I know I can trust the people you send to my home?
We know that the quality of our services depend on our cleaners. Luster is very particular in the hiring process and all of our cleaners are fully insured and bonded. Every potential employee is rigorously screened, their background is checked and are subjected to regular quality inspection. If any concerns arise, please let us know. We take any reports seriously and will handle the situation immediately.
How often should I have my home cleaned?
The frequency of cleanings depends on your lifestyle, expectations and household. Luster recommends at least bi-weekly cleanings to keep your home in tip-top shape. Alternatively, monthly services are great for those who clean frequently themselves and just wanted a thorough service every 4 weeks. Weekly recurring services will keep even the busiest of homes spotless!
Do I have to sign a contract?
Luster is committed to your complete satisfaction, and believe in client freedom. We do not have contracts and you are welcome to change recurring schedules anytime.
Do I have to be home when the cleaner comes?
You do not need to be home for the cleanings. Many customers provide garage codes or lockboxes for entry.
What if I have a pet?
We love pets! Please let us know about them prior to your first cleaning and if there are any special circumstances of which we should be aware. Our products are perfectly safe for pets and we will happily work around them.
What if my cleaning schedule falls on a holiday?
If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday, we will contact you approximately one month in advance to reschedule. Luster observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Are your cleaning products safe?
We are incredibly selective about the products we use to ensure they are safe for you, your children, pets, and the environment. Our cleaning brand is chosen due to their plant-derived ingredients, use of renewable plant resources, aromatherapeutic essential oil scents, biodegradable formulas and at least 25% post-consumer plastic bottles. The products will leave your home shiny, smelling amazing and are completely safe for your family. Luster is proud to be a cruelty-free company and our products are never tested on animals.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
We assess a $35 cancellation fee to appointments not cancelled by 3PM CST the day before the appointment.
What if some areas were missed?
Our number one priority is the complete satisfaction of our clients. We understand that people make mistakes, and we stand by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. If something was missed, please let us know within 48 hours of the service and we will send someone out to re-clean the area. The re-clean appointment must be scheduled and completed within 72 hours of contact.
